La band ha scelto questo singolo come primo di una serie di nuovi brani in arrivo quest’anno, compiendo un cambio di passo rispetto ai contenuti leggeri, tipici del rock n roll spensierato delle produzioni precedenti. La cover dell’originale (del 1969) del duo Zager and Evans è stata infatti ripresa per fare il punto della situazione del nostro pianeta oggi, rispetto al futuro cupo immaginato a fine anni ’60. Un luogo in cui avidità e potere non si fermano davanti a morte, distruzione e diritti e le donne e gli uomini comuni (ma anche l’ambiente, gli animali) hanno sempre meno voce in capitolo rispetto agli interessi di pochi.
